SysMaster Unveils Plans for Developing VoIP Billing Platform

SysMaster Corporation, a leading provider of Voice-over-IP and networking solutions for the enterprise, announced today plans for developing a Voice-over-IP billing platform that will address the needs of new generation telecom providers. The billing platform, which is scheduled for release in the first half of 2002, will be the first member of the company’s new product line targeting the growing market for VoIP equipment.
The VoIP Billing Platform will be a unique product, offering dynamic billing for real-time call management. It will utilize a robust SQL database running under Linux OS and will provide authentication, authorization and accounting for VoIP calls using industry standard RADIUS protocol. In addition to standard billing, the product will offer advanced functionality, such as multi-layer billing, time-of-the-day billing, progressive billing, unlimited billing plans etc. to meet the diverse demands of new generation telecom providers.
