Position Summary

Excellent opportunity to learn and advance in the VOIP world!

We look for energetic, motivated, and achievement-oriented people to join our Customer Support teams located in our Emeryville and Walnut Creek offices. Technical Support Specialists will be responsible for all aspects of customer support, including but not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and debug Voice-Over-IP applications and customer network problems
  • Answer the support phone line
  • Reply to customer emails
  • Schedule and provide installation for new customers
  • Assist sales personnel in pre-sales support and product demonstrations
  • Provide customer training at our facilities or at customer's premises
  • Work with customers on-site

Candidates MUST have:

  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows NT/2000/XP OS
  • Strong understanding of VOIP, H323, SIP, Codecs, Call Routing
  • Familiarity with HTML and XML
  • Troubleshooting experience using Windows and Linux command line interface
  • Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications/ Networking
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Exceptional oral/written communications skills
  • Solid technical problem solving skills
  • Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Layer 1/2/3/4-7 network devices
  • Experience with scripts and vi editing
  • Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN
